Where a plaintiff has alleged that the defendant detective failed to disclose material exculpatory evidence in violation of the plaintiff’s constitutional rights, a jury verdict awarding the plaintiff $10 million in damages should be affirmed despite the defendant’s argument that he is entitled to qualified immunity and that the plaintiff’s 42 U.S.C. §1983 claim is barred by Heck v. Humphrey, 512 U.S. 477 (1994).
