In Ernest v. Brown, issued July 29, the Michigan Supreme Court overruled its 2004 decision in Waltz v. Wyse, holding that the medical malpractice tolling provision in MCL 600.5856 applies to the wrongful-death saving provision in MCL 600.5852.
